At EasiDrive our corporate responsibility is at the heart of our business. We pride ourselves on providing excellent career development opportunities, supporting national and local charities and minimising our environmental impact.
We continually strive to provide apprenticeships and work placements for young people and we are proud to have recently created our Claims and Recoveries Academies to provide opportunities.
We have supported a mix of national and local charities including Winston’s Wish, MIND, LBGT Foundation. Movember, Trussell Trust Food Bank, Peele House Care Home and the Rainbow Trust in conjunction with iloveclaims.com, to name but a few. Events have varied with our teams taking responsibility from start to finish and coming up with creative ways to raise money. We have completed challenges, had bake sales, and some of our staff even did a sleep-out in Manchester city centre to raise money for a homeless charity.
The nature of our business means we can’t avoid having a carbon footprint. However, we look to minimise this where possible by evaluating the emissions on vehicles we purchase and planning deliveries and collections to minimise mileage – our depots are strategically placed to optimise this. This approach reduces costs and improves profitability, helping us achieve our growth goals. Furthermore, our drivers always use public transport to and from the depot when collecting or delivering a vehicle, and we recycle all waste generated by the business where possible. And to help offset our carbon footprint we have participated in Manchester City of Trees Project to help support the planting 3 million trees – one for every person – across the city region.
