Calls appearing to come from our Manchester office phone number
We have recently been made aware of a number of people receiving calls purporting to come from EasiDrive, specifically showing as coming from our Manchester office phone number (0345 8000 800) wishing to discuss road traffic accidents.
If you are one of the individuals affected, we can assure you that it was not EasiDrive, nor any representative of this organisation, that called you. It appears to be a scam where someone is trying to appear as a reputable organisation and mask their real identity.
EasiDrive offers specialist post-accident management services to businesses and individuals alike. Our approach is not, and never will be, to cold call people to discuss a claim.
Nuisance calls and phone number spoofing is a common problem. Ofcom has issued some guidance on their website to help you understand what call spoofing is and how you can report it if you believe you are a victim.
We are investigating and have reported the matter to Action Fraud. If you have any information that may help in our investigation please do contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org
At EasiDrive our corporate responsibility is at the heart of our business. We pride ourselves on providing excellent career development opportunities, supporting national and local charities and minimising our environmental impact.
We continually strive to provide apprenticeships and work placements for young people and we are proud to have recently created our Claims and Recoveries Academies to provide opportunities.
Each year our people nominate a mix of national and local charities for which to raise funds. During the last 18 months we have supported Winston’s Wish, MIND, LBGT Foundation. Movember, Trussell Trust Food Bank, Peele House Care Home and the Rainbow Trust in conjunction with iloveclaims.com, to name but a few. Events have varied with our teams taking responsibility from start to finish…coming up with ideas, such as Back to Skool Week! and the Crystal Maze, to the collection of funds alongside doing their day jobs.
The nature of our business means we can’t avoid having a carbon footprint. However, we look to minimise this where possible by evaluating the emissions on vehicles we purchase and planning deliveries and collections to minimise mileage – our depots are strategically placed to optimise this. This approach reduces costs and improves profitability, helping us achieve our growth goals. Furthermore, our drivers always use public transport to and from the depot when collecting or delivering a vehicle, and we recycle all waste generated by the business where possible. And to help offset our carbon footprint we have participated in Manchester City of Trees Project to help support the planting 3 million trees – one for every person – across the city region.
